TIM REID, ROSLYN / NSW / ROUND 1

Tim together with his wife Jemma, operate JTR Cattle Company which was established in 2015, running 100 Herefords and 50 Angus Stud cows. Tim is also the Manager of Melon Pastoral, where he runs a 600 commercial cow herd. Both farms are located in Roslyn NSW.

At Melon Pastoral Tim and Jemma have 150 autumn calving cows and 450 spring calving cows. The herd consists of both Angus and Black Baldie cows. Each year they retain 100 Heifers which are AI’ed in late September, together with 100 of their cows. Tim and Jemma utilise an embryo transfer program where they implant around 200 embryos in spring and 100 in autumn.
