Cynthia and Richard moved to Gayndah in 2004 where they have a registered stud herd and a commercial herd. Their property is 3,880 acres and situated in the North Burnett region with approximately 26 inches of rain annually.

On their property Cynthia and Richard breed Brahmans, Speckle Park bulls and some Freisian cross Brahman. Their stocking rate is usually around the 250 head with potential to expand in the future. This number includes everything from cows, heifers, bulls, steers & calves. They sell around 50 head per year depending on the conditions of the grass available, this includes selling bulls at Rockhampton Brahman week, with the top price at $13,500 for a 2-year-old bull. Richard and Cynthia have won a number of events with their cows including The Cattleman’s Cup at FarmFest twice!

Their yearly vaccinations consists of 7 IN 1 & Longrange. The botulism vaccine is a necessity due to losing a dozen head with Botulism when they first moved to Gayndah.

Richard and Cynthia have used Multimin over the years but used it more recently during the drought to help boost the cow’s immunity & survival rate. So far they have had success with the product as they found during these trying times they had only lost a few head. They hope through the Multimin Performance Ready Challenge to increase immunity, health and productivity, fertility and conception.
